on a brighter note...
I just completed my first official rehearsal with Secret Life of Painters, where I have assumed the position of drummer. I think it went decently well. You should check out the band's website: it has mp3s (including John Hofmann solo stuff), pictures and lots of stuff to read. There is also a very thorough Red Shifter page, for those of you who remember that band.

Ryan is a scientific monkey who know how to bang a drum. Is he the hard, hard drummer from Arcadia? He's definitely no roof rat, but he's the cat's meow. They can see you Ryan. Monkey boy!
